C-King is a purpose-built 15.07m Norman Wright timber commercial fishing vessel designed for offshore prawn and scallop operations. Extensive refit works and mechanical upgrades have already been completed, reducing setup time and allowing new owners to commence operations with confidence.

Mechanical Upgrades & Offshore Capability

The vessel is powered by a rebuilt Cummins NTA855 main engine paired with a rebuilt Twin Disc gearbox, both completed in 2019. With approximately 7,500 litres of fuel capacity, C-King is suited to extended offshore trips, supporting productive commercial fishing operations over longer periods on the water.

Commercial Fishing Equipment

Fishing systems are configured for efficient prawn and scallop trawling, featuring an innovative five-rig in-pull winch system suitable for both shallow and deeper fishing grounds. The vessel is supplied with five prawn nets, five scallop nets, stainless Kilfoil boards, hydraulic winches, and a complete onboard processing and freezing system incorporating a Bitzer compressor, snap freezer, and a 500-box freezer room.

Recent upgrades include rebuilt main winches fitted with new drums and guards, together with a flow-coated freezer room completed in 2025.

Navigation & Onboard Systems

Navigation and communications equipment includes JRC radar, JRC sounder, TMQ autopilot, C-Plot, AIS, VHF radio, and Starlink connectivity, supporting navigation, fishing operations, and offshore communications.

Crew Accommodation

C-King provides accommodation suitable for extended commercial trips with four berths, air conditioning, hot water system, shower, and toilet facilities.
